CLEAN ESTATES SERVICE STANDARDS
Health & Safety
All our work is strictly governed by the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 1988 and the Environmental Act 1990.
In recognition of achieving the required Health & Safety standards required by our clients, Clean Estates are accredited under the following schemes:
To further demonstrate our commitment to continually improve our systems and procedures within the business, Clean Estates has been awarded OHSAS 18001 certification through UKAS.
UKAS is the sole national accreditation body recognised by government to assess, against internationally agreed standards, organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services.
This achievement puts us ahead of many of our competitors that do not hold this well respected industry qualification.
The (OHSAS) specification gives requirements for an occupational health and safety management system, to enable an organisation to control its OH&S risks and improve its performance.
OHSAS 18001 was created via the concerted effort from a number of the world’s leading national standards bodies, certification bodies, and specialist consultancies.
Quality
Clean Estates are registered with BSI and certified by UKAS to quality management standard ISO 9001:2008 for the provision of cleaning services, grounds maintenance services and the management of specialist contractors.
Environment
We take our environmental responsibilities seriously and have achieved UKAS certification to ISO 14001:2004 environmental management standard. We work closely with all our customers and suppliers to ensure current legislation is met and that continuous improvement is achieved.
Insurance
We are fully insured for Employers and Public Liability, minimum £10,000,000 cover.
